This eerie place is named for the first wolf to find this land. Palude. They say that he was a mute , who led others to this land. This land is dangerous, if you don't watch your step. It's a rather humid area, and a mist like fog often hangs close to the ground that can make walking here dangerous. There aren't any really crocs here, though there are other dangers, mainly snakes and the occasional disease.

The best way to describe this place, would probably be, 'flat'. It's not much to look at, during any season, though there are a few ridges here and there. Massive herbivorous live here, from elk to bison, to smaller animals as well. There's not much shelter all the way out here in the boonies, so if it's during winter and your caught during a storm, the best thing you can do is hunker down hope you don't die, waiting for it to pass.

The bottom of the valley that holds many diverse lands, is carpeted mainly in pine trees, and fairly long grass. It's a peaceful place, in all honesty, and unfortunately it can lull you into false sense of security. If you get lost in this maze of trees, then you're lost, if if's and's or but's. Sound echoes well here, and if you are directionally challenged, then you're more than a little screwed. There is a river that cuts a path through the forest, and it can be heard through out the land, along with the sounds of birds and other wild life.

The main attraction of this place, which sits primarily along the flat of the valley, is the river, which gushes during the spring and summer with mountain water. The grass is lush and green here, and over all, it isn't a bad place to live, compared to other lands that have been seen. The grass doesn't get too long here, and the groves of trees are fairly thin, so the risk of being snuck up on here is minimal.

Not far off from the field of flowers, lies the glade. It's one of the quietest places you could find in the Ocultar lands, and it's a favorite place for those who desire to be alone go, to do just that. It's also known as somewhat of a sweetheart spot, and mates are known to bring their significant others here, as it makes a cute place to spend the day or evening.

White sand, blue water, and a soft look the place in general, Othello Beach is one of the most popular places during the summer. The white sand is soft and deep, and the water luckily fairly warm all year around. Along this beach, you will see massive boulders, some bigger than others. Most aren't sure as to why they are there, but they make the beach quite a site. Be warned though, they make good hiding places, as they can easily hide the bulk of almost any creature behind them.

One of the few deciduous forests that the Matar lay claim to. The trees are thick together, and it's a rather sheltered area. During the spring and summer, the trees are deep green, and provide loving shade to the four legged animals, all animals, that lie under neath them. During the colder months of the year, these trees appear as skeletons, dull, gray, and with the grass beneath them brown, a rather depressing place on the whole.

Fulmine is one of the lakes that dot the lands of these wolves world. The water, a deep blue in color comes from the rivers that have traveled from the mountains, and so it's often a deep, bone chilling cold. The pine trees are what dominate most tree like foliage in these lands, and can grow to be massively tall. Even behind these trees, the mountains soar even higher, giving the lake a lovely backdrop to a chilly scene.

Within the forest that is rather small, but incredibly dense, there are ruins. They're made out of stones, and no one is quite sure why they are here, or just what they are. However, they make good places to hide out in during a storm. Of course, with such thick vegetation, no matter the time of year, it may not be as safe and secluded as you would have it be.

Despite the appearances of Cwase plains, there is a deep forest that survives here. On the edge of this forest, is a beach. To get to this beach, however, you have to brave the drop that can easily snap your legs if your not careful. The surf here can be rough and unpredictable, and the water is deliciously warm, which during the summer can give rise to hurricanes.
